Baseline Resource Allocation (Reedited)

VIDEO SCRIPT

Welcome to this video, where we’ll discuss the importance of renewing your mindset and how it can transform your ministry. Let’s explore how embracing a new baseline can lead to powerful growth in your life and ministry!

Before coming to Christ, many people have no concept of the kind of life they could have in a relationship with God.

They were completely blind to the reality that they could have so much peace of mind, or feel such a powerful sense of love and purpose in their life.

Prior to knowing God, they operated in one frame of mind. After coming into a relationship with God, they experienced a renewal of their minds (they got an entirely new frame of mind) that opened them up to brand new possibilities.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.” – Romans 12:2

Baseline: Your baseline is your normal mode of operation, the lenses that tell you what “normal” is, which you then use as a starting point for all other comparisons.

Until you are living in the perfect image of Christ, you are currently living within a baseline that could be improved.

Everyone has a baseline for every area of life. Some people have a baseline of feeling mildly anxious all the time, while others operate with more peace.

Some people operate from a baseline of toxic financial habits (thinking that their terrible money habits are normal or healthy) and others operate from a financial sophistication that produces fruit.

Whatever your baseline is in any area, be aware that it is impossible to imagine a new baseline until you experience it.

If what you’re doing in your ministry isn’t producing the fruit you hoped for (and you are frustrated and don’t know why), be aware that you are operating from a baseline of beliefs and behaviors that aren’t able to get you to your desired destination.

In this section, we will be looking at new ways in which you can reorder the resource you have access to that will produce more fruit in your ministry.

Our goal is to show you more effective baseline strategies and thought processes that will take YOUR ABILITY to produce fruit to the next level.

Life Before and After Coming to Christ

Before coming to Christ, many people are unaware of the peace, love, and purpose they could experience in a relationship with God. After entering into a relationship with God, they undergo a renewal of their minds, opening them up to new possibilities and a transformed life.

The Concept of Baseline

Your baseline is your normal mode of operation, the lenses that define what “normal” is, which you use as a starting point for all other comparisons. Until you are living in the perfect image of Christ, your current baseline could be improved.

Baselines in Different Areas of Life

Everyone has a baseline for every aspect of life. Whether it’s mental well-being, financial habits, or other areas, your current baseline may not be the most fruitful one. It’s essential to recognize that it’s impossible to imagine a new baseline until you experience it.

Overcoming Limiting Baselines in Ministry

If your ministry isn’t producing the desired fruit and you’re feeling frustrated, be aware that you may be operating from a baseline of beliefs and behaviors that aren’t helping you reach your goals. Our aim is to introduce you to more effective baseline strategies and thought processes that will elevate your ability to produce fruit in your ministry.
